How I got into building sunrooms
I grew up on my dad's jobs while he built patio rooms and enclosures, and watching him is how I learned to measure twice and write everything down. I started Viewcraft here in Rossmoor in 2023 to do that same careful work. I still come out to look at your job and write the estimate myself, and I check our crew's work as the room goes up.
Rossmoor is a neighborhood of homes between Seal Beach and Los Alamitos. Most of the calls I get are from people who want a sunroom, a patio enclosure or a cover and want to understand their choices before they decide. That's the part of the job I like best, because a good room starts with a lot of questions. Our license and what the state requires
California contractor license
California requires a state contractor license to build or alter a structure when the job needs a building permit, uses any extra workers, or costs $1,000 or more in labor and materials. Most sunroom and enclosure jobs meet at least one of those conditions, so ask any contractor you're considering whether they hold that license. Viewcraft is fully licensed and insured.

We take care of the permit
Rossmoor isn't a city. It's an unincorporated part of Orange County, so building permits come from the County of Orange, and the county usually requires them for additions and remodels. We check which office covers your address, and when your work needs a permit, we handle the application and meet the inspector.
