Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you use the Viewcraft Rossmoor Sunrooms & Patios website, starting from our home page, and when you ask us for an estimate or hire us for work. By using the site or asking for our services, you agree to these terms.

If you sign a written contract with us for a project, that contract controls wherever it differs from these terms. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the site.

What we do

Viewcraft Rossmoor Sunrooms & Patios is a sunroom contractor in Rossmoor, CA. We design, build, convert and remodel sunrooms, patio enclosures, screen rooms, solariums and patio covers for homes in Rossmoor and the cities around it. You can read more about us on our About page.

The descriptions, photos and examples on this site show the kind of work we do. They aren't an offer to do a specific job at a specific price. The scope of your project is set only in your written estimate and contract.

Estimates and pricing

We give free estimates at your property, and asking for one puts you under no obligation. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure on the visit, your choices of size, glass, roof and finish, and material prices at the time.

Your estimate is good for the period written on it, because material and labor costs change. Some conditions only show up once work starts, such as a slab or deck that can't carry the new room or damage hidden behind walls. If that happens, we'll stop, explain what we found and agree on any change in price or scope with you in writing before we go on.

Scheduling and cancellation

Start dates and finish dates we give you are our best estimates, not promises. Permit review, inspections, weather, delivery of custom-made materials and changes you ask for can all move the schedule, and we'll keep you told when they do.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, call us at (562) 488-9164 or reach us through our Contact page as soon as you can. Any cancellation rights you have under the law, and any costs for custom materials already ordered for your job, will be set out in your written contract.

Payment terms

The amount you owe, any deposit, any progress payments and when each one is due are set out in your written contract. Payment is due on the dates the contract states.

We don't charge for work or materials that aren't in your contract or in a written change order you've approved. If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's made, as the contract allows.

Warranties and disclaimers

Any warranty on our workmanship is the one written into your contract. Materials such as glass, frames, panels and roofing usually carry the maker's own warranty, and we'll pass that warranty on to you, but the maker is responsible for it, not us.

Information on this website is provided as is, for general information only. To the extent the law allows, we make no other warranties, express or implied, about the website or its content.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Viewcraft Rossmoor Sunrooms & Patios is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of this website or from our services, including lost use of your home or lost time.

Where we are found liable for a project, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for that project, unless your contract or the law says otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that the law doesn't allow to be limited.

Resolving disagreements

If something about your project isn't right, tell us first, because most problems get fixed faster with a phone call than a letter. Call (562) 488-9164 or use our Contact page, and we'll look at the issue and respond.

If we can't work it out between us, either of us may take the dispute to a court with jurisdiction in California, unless your contract sets a different process.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to rules that would apply another state's law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one in effect. Changes don't alter a written contract you've already signed with us.

If you have a question about these terms, call us at (562) 488-9164 or send a message through our Contact page.
